SourceSifterr Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ercole Automations ("we", "us"), of Los Angeles, California. They cover the SourceSifterr Chrome extension and this website. By installing or using SourceSifterr, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install it.

Acceptable use

SourceSifterr captures a product page you are already viewing, one page at a time, when you click to capture it. That is the only way it is designed to work, and you agree to keep using it that way.

You agree not to:

website, or to automate it to run without a person clicking.

without our written permission.

extent that restriction is unenforceable where you live.

from.

About retailer terms. Many retailers' terms of service restrict automated access to their sites. You are responsible for your own compliance with the terms of any website you capture from. We give you a tool. How you use it on someone else's site is your call and your responsibility.

Your Google account and your data

You connect your own Google account. Your tracker, your deck, and your images are created in your own Google Drive and are owned by you. We do not hold a copy and cannot access them.

That also means your data is your responsibility to back up. If you delete a tracker or a deck, or lose access to your Google account, we cannot recover it for you.

You can disconnect SourceSifterr at any time from your Google Account permissions page, and uninstall the extension from Chrome. Your files stay where they are.

Your AI provider key and costs

SourceSifterr requires you to supply your own API key from Anthropic or OpenAI. This is deliberate, so your usage is billed to you at cost with no markup from us.

You understand and agree that:

have no visibility into your usage and no ability to control, cap, refund, or dispute your bill.

estimate based on our own use, not a guarantee. Your actual cost depends on how much you capture and on your provider's pricing, which they can change.

compromised, revoke the key from your provider's dashboard.

We are not liable for any charge, overage, rate limit, suspension, or outage on your AI provider account.

Client decks and third-party content

The decks SourceSifterr builds contain product images belonging to retailers and manufacturers. Those images are their copyright, not yours and not ours.

Using manufacturer product photos in a private specification deck for a specific client is ordinary practice in the design industry. Publishing them is a different thing. So:

website, a portfolio, social media, or anywhere else, unless you have the rights to the images in them.

Accuracy of captured data

SourceSifterr reads a product page with an AI model and fills in the name, dimensions, and price. It gets things wrong sometimes. Pages change, fields are missing, units are ambiguous, and models make mistakes.

You must check captured data before you rely on it, especially prices, dimensions, and anything going into a client budget or a purchase order. We make no warranty that any captured value is accurate, current, or complete. We are not responsible for a wrong order, a blown budget, or a spec error resulting from unverified captured data.

How you get access

We're a small team and we authorize every purchase by hand. At checkout you give us the Google account email you plan to use with SourceSifterr.

You get two emails. The first arrives right after you pay and carries the download and install instructions, so you can set the extension up while you wait. The second confirms that we have added your Google account to our authorized list, which is the point at which you can actually sign in. We ask for 24 to 48 hours from your purchase to complete that approval.

You need that specific Google account to sign in, so if it changes, email us and we'll update it.

Payment and refunds

SourceSifterr is $2,500, a one-time payment for a single-user license. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.

During our launch period we are offering it at $999. That price is available for a limited time only, and we will say plainly on the pricing page when it ends. Whatever you pay is locked in. A launch purchase never converts to full price later, and we will not bill you again.

How you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details with Stripe directly, and we never see or store your full card number.

Refunds. If SourceSifterr is not right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually land within five to ten business days depending on your bank. After 14 days we handle refunds case by case and we will be reasonable about it, especially if something on our end is broken.

What the price does not include is your AI provider usage. You pay Anthropic or OpenAI directly for that, as described above. We take no cut and add no markup.

We may change the price for new customers at any time. A price change never applies retroactively to a license you have already bought.

Availability and support

SourceSifterr is early-access software, provided as-is. We do not promise any specific uptime, and it depends on services we do not control: Google, your AI provider, and the retailer websites you capture from. Any of those can change or break, and when a retailer changes their page structure, capture on that site may stop working until we update it.

Support during early access is direct and personal, by email at Support@ercoleautomations.com. We aim to respond within two business days. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, with notice to active users where we reasonably can.

Warranty disclaimer

SourceSifterr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that SourceSifterr will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that captured data will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business, or procurement costs, arising out of or related to your use of SourceSifterr, even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim relating to SourceSifterr is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using SourceSifterr at any time by uninstalling it and disconnecting it from your Google account.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, in particular the acceptable use section. Where the breach is fixable, we will tell you and give you a reasonable chance to fix it first.

If your access ends, your Google files remain yours and untouched. The sections covering client decks, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify active users by email before they take effect. Continuing to use SourceSifterr after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
